Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars Season Comes to a Close

Emmitt Smith/Cheryl Burke stand out in competitive season

After winning ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” in 2006, Emmitt and his dance partner Cheryl Burke completed an impressive 2012 season on the first ever all-stars version of the show. Emmitt and Cheryl danced their way through the season and survived all the way to the semifinals against an ultra-competitive field of celebrities and their dance partners.

Week 1 of the season saw Emmitt and Cheryl post the highest score of any competitors, and they continued to impress from week to week with everything from the Rumba and Samba to an “Espionage” Lindy Hop. Thanks to their dance skills and the help of voters around the country, Emmitt and Cheryl continued to advance each week and barely missed out on competing in the show’s finale.

Emmitt and Cheryl are very grateful for all of the support they received from their fans during the season.
